![]() lower the graphics HW acceleration to 50% - 75% use Creative ASIO drivers (16-bit/48 kHz or 24-bit/96 kHz). increase the PCI Latency for Audigy to 64-128 and decrease for graphics card to 64-128. The stuttering issue you're having, don't always become from the audio HW, but from HW configuration/settings and SW/driver settings. What is a FW? How exactly can I disable the Audigy for video games etc and still use the sound card for recording?įW = FireWire -> you asked if you can plug a firewire card to Audigy FireWire controller. ![]() I tried at 48 Khz and its dropping out the same way so that doesn't make a difference. I thought that using a lower frequency rate such as 44.1 Khz would lower processing power thus stop some of the dropouts. Would I be able to plug in the firewire soundcard through the Audigy Firewire connection and not run down the computer's processor? So would I be able to overcome the stutter effect while basically using the Audigy card as an input for the firewire connection?
